Using Your SSB Online

We have very recently seen an influx of families attempting to use their School Saving Bonus codes online, we believe due to confusing instructions sent to them during reminders from different sources about the program coming to the end. We hope that, should you have any issues using your code, this guide will help you find out what’s going wrong.

1. Please ensure you have an ONLINE SSB Code.

   There are two types of codes – your School Saving Bonus code, and Beleza Online Code. The SSB code will look like a jumble of letters with a student code (i.e.3129BEL0003ANTF) which can only be used in-store.
   The Beleza Online Code is a 15 digit code that starts with SSB (i.e. SSB12-34567-ABCDE).
   Please note that the SSB code can only be used in-store, and the Beleza Online Code can only be used online, and cannot be converted back into an in-store code.

    

2. If you don’t have an online code, convert your code to one using the SSB Portal.

   Unfortunately, Beleza does not have access to the funds or the SSB portal that was sent to you, so we are not exactly sure how this looks on our end. However, you should have an email from the Department of Education that contains your SSB code and a link to the Parent Portal. Once in that portal, there should be somewhere you can go to redeem your code towards a Beleza Online Code. This can be used on the online store either in your cart or during the checkout.
   If you are unable to find your parent portal or can’t understand how to convert to an online code, please call the SSB Help Line at 1800 338 663. Unfortunately, since we have no access to this portal, we cannot help with this step on our end.
   
   

3. Apply the code at the cart or checkout screen.
   

   Once you reach the cart or checkout screen, you can then enter your Beleza Online Code in the Coupon Code field. Please ensure to keep the hyphens, and click Apply to apply the code(s). Multiple codes can be used in one transaction.

    

4. If your transaction fails, please do not try to use the code again and call us to renew your voucher.

   Unfortunately, if your transaction fails after using the voucher for any reason (most commonly being a credit card number being typed in incorrectly, for example), the voucher gets used up despite the failure. As we are receiving hundreds of emails each day at the moment, there is significant risk that if you email us to have the voucher renewed, it may be missed. If needing the voucher renewed, please call us at 9702 3218.

    

5. Any unused funds will go back to the school soon after the program ends, and into your students’ account.

   We have run out of $400 vouchers, so if wanting to redeem $400, please redeem 2x $200. If you redeem $200 but then only use $120, for example, the remaining $80 will be put into the students’ account at the school to be used towards school activities, camps, equipment, etc. This will stay in their student account until they finish their schooling life (for example, a prep student could potentially keep their $400 in their school account until Year 12 as funds transfer between schools).
