We are currently receiving a significant amount of emails from customers asking for order updates. Due to this sudden influx, responses may take 1 – 2 weeks as our team tried to get through them all. As per the information below, we do not have any specific ETA’s we can provide. We look into all emails we receive, but these will all likely get the response that we are waiting for additional manufacturing, and won’t provide any specific ETA’s.
Our team understands this frustration, and we do apologise sincerely and wish we could provide more information.
As soon as the School Saving Bonus program was launched in November, we received significantly more orders than we’ve ever received – ten times more orders online, and three times more foot traffic in our stores than our average back to school period. Not only were we getting more orders, but families have been ordering more – where normally they’d buy two polos, they’d be buying four or five, for example. While this is absolutely understandable with the current School Saving Bonus initiative, it’s also unprecedented, which made it very hard to know exactly how much more we’d need to prepare in advance without going over the top and over-ordering, leaving the school with a potential liability should you want to change designs or logos in the future, for example. With only two months notice from the government about the program, this was not ideal in terms of such large scale preparation.
Our team have been working overtime (and hiring extra warehouse workers) to try and get through the orders as fast as possible. However, with the tenfold increase in orders, it has meant that online orders have taken much longer than usual – not because of lack of stock, but because the amount of time it takes to process orders, physically collate the stock and ship it to the customers means we can’t get through the orders as fast as we are receiving them – which was never a problem even in our busiest back to school periods in the past when we had less staff in the warehouse than we do now.
In addition to the processing times, we’ve also had a significant delay in manufacturing due to the significant amount more items we need to make. With almost everything selling out much quicker than usual, we’ve had to order and manufacture a significant amount more stock than usual, while unable to significantly increase our team size since this is a temporary program, but have done what we can to expedite everything.
As the year comes to an end, we have significantly been able to catch up with many of the shortages, and still have a couple more large containers of stock arriving before the year ends in preparation for back to school time. We are confident that within the next couple of months, we will be able to return to our usual 1 – 5 business day delivery time. However, we do need just a bit longer to reach this goal, and we appreciate any patience you are able to provide.
Partial Shipments/Incomplete Orders:
If you have received only part of your order, this was because the items you requested were out of stock at the time of packing. Shipping times for remaining items will vary depending on the manufacturing required. Items will be shipped out as soon as possible.
Our team is currently working on all backorders, and shipping orders as quickly as possible. We continue to receive new stock on a regular basis, but due to the significant amount of items we manufacture, this does mean each shipment we get carries different items as it is impossible to make everything at once. As soon as items needed arrive, they will be allocated to your order and sent, even if it doesn’t complete your order. Our aim is to get you all your items as quickly as possible, not to hold items back until your order is completed.
Due to the significant number of orders and items involved, and the different factors that go into completing these orders, we cannot offer a specific ETA for every order. If you are looking for an ETA for your order, our administration team cannot provide any more specific information than what is in this update.
If you are able, we would highly recommend visiting your local Beleza retail store for your uniform needs. If the store is out of stock of anything you are needing, our staff can take an order for you and give you a call once the item arrives in-store. Our stores receive stock regularly, so this would likely be faster than ordering online at this stage, as most of the delays online are due to the time it takes to get through the orders and the number of existing orders in the processing queue rather than stock availability.
Our team is working hard to get all items made, and are getting frequent new stock from our manufacturing team. As soon as your items are available, they will be allocated to your order and shipped. Unfortunately, due to the significant amount of items we have being made concurrently, our team are unable to provide any specific ETA’s.
Current ETA’s For New Orders
Regarding new orders, we are still processing them and shipments unfortunately are significantly dependent on stock availability. Where stock is available, we do have the expectation of 1 – 3 weeks after ordering. If not, our aim is to get it within 6 weeks. If a specialty item, it may take longer.
We appreciate that these delays are frustrating, and we understand the inconvenience they may cause. It is an unprecedented situation for us, but please be assured that we are doing everything we can to complete orders as quickly as possible, including having hired additional staff, working additional hours, and manufacturing extra stock.
We’d like to apologise for these delays and inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience and understanding as we continue to work as hard as possible to get orders out to you.
